oil on panel, 8"x8"
Available for reservations.
You guys. I am exhausted.
I woke up to rush out the door for an event I was photographing in Sonoma today. I wore wedges (a short person's strategy for shooting tall people and things), was on my feet for 12 hours running around the event, in the sun shooting, and came home at 10pm to my easel and panel waiting for me to paint something on it.
I'll be honest; today was a blast and I looooove shooting people and events, but I am exhausted. And the last thing I wanted to see at 10pm were my easel and paints.
But I painted anyway. CHAMP.
Yes, I just called myself a champ, because I feel like I deserve some credit for essentially working a 14 hour day with a 20 minute break for dinner.
And I love how this painting turned out. Super loose strokes and use of color; just my style right now when all I want to do is collapse on my bed.
And now this champ is on her way to read for class tomorrow and sleeeeeep.
Bye and love until tomorrow.
