It's Sunday! And officially 15 days into this 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge.
I cannot believe that I have completed 15 paintings in 15 days. And to imagine how I will feel when I've painted 30 paintings in 30 days.
Elated, proud and fulfilled.
As the days have gone on and as we get closer to the wedding date, I have had a lesser regard for my personal hygiene and personal care. This sounds so gross, and I do bathe (for all those I have seen or will see over the next few weeks), but washing my hair takes soooo much time and effort. I just don't like washing my hair to be really honest with all of you. Because of so much going on, my unruly dry & curly hair, the time it takes to wash my hair, and the way I feel about washing my hair, I've been washing it every 4 days.
When you have a to-do list the magnitude of three Google Doc pages I'm sure you'd follow suit. Washing your hair everyday is overrated anyway, right?
When I was walking to the store yesterday I popped into H&M and purchased a $1 black hair clip (since the grey one I have at home doesn't match with most outfits). I really love this clip - it's only been a 3 days and I've worn it morning, afternoon and evening, all 3 of those days, all in the same style. And it's been so flipping comfortable and fabulous. And it holds all of my unwashed hair quite amazingly right on top of my head.
So, I decided to paint it on top of my head with the following morale: do you beautifully. Everything else fabulous will follow.
I also painted this realizing that I love painting these works with company and after 9pm. I'm finding myself to be less stressed in the evenings, and therefore my strokes are swifter and looser with flow. I'm going to attempt doing this moving forward in my painting schedule, and I'll let you all know how it goes.
Just a thought, I think I will take a bubble bath tomorrow with my Lush bath bomb with my hair clip in and a glass of wine. Done.
Sweet dreams, readers!
