I'm going to start today's post by saying that I had abnormally insane insomnia last night and did not sleep until 6:00am, only thanks to extra ZzzQuil I had stashed away in my passport carrier.
What the heck!? I didn't even have coffee after 4:00pm the afternoon prior, which is usually my [dumb] issue with not sleeping until 4:00am latest. The only two things I came down to blaming were (1) staying up until 1:00am picking out wedding mass readings over a shared bottle of pinot noir with Jose and (2) excitement about so many plans coming up with my business.
For anyone who knows me well, I need my full 8+ hours of sleep per night to be a fully functioning human being presentable to society.
I even heard the birds beginning to chirp and neighbor's showers start to go off in the building before my final attempt at sleeping.
Good news is that I was able to finish the last round of designs for the wedding, read 200 pages of my book (I couldn't put The Glass Castle down at all), complete the wedding rehearsal dinner invitations and write two photography shoot posts for my portfolio.
Glass half full, right?
I'm going to remember that now as I give thanks for somehow surviving today while still able to complete a pretty basic painting before midnight.
For the sake of drama, and from one of my favorite movies Pearl Harbor: "Do not tell me it can't be done."
*cue dramatic drums*
Good night, world. And please excuse any typos or grammatical errors in this post, I tried my hardest.
