So many busy Fridays lately! Fun busy though. I had another photoshoot today, this time for a wedding. My first one! Oh my gosh so fun, and I wonder how many steps I got in running around the vineyard.
And I'm so happy I took the time to paint my toe nails with one of my favorite Essie nail polishes yesterday, since I decided to wear my "flat sandals" for full comfort and to accommodate the 90F East Bay heat.
My newly painted toe babies were out to play and were happy to greet the sun.
I also wonder if I got a bit of a tan today on the vineyard. Fingers crossed for this hopeless white Latina.
Another thing I did yesterday before painting my nails: I took a bath. It felt sooo nice to pamper myself. I finally used the Lush bath bomb purchased a few months ago, I lit some candles and curled up in the bath with The Rosie Project (such a good read after the super real The Glass Castle).
Sure, my to-do list hasn't decreased in the slightest, including the table seating chart that hasn't been completed at all, but pampering myself was all I could think of doing in the moment before going back to editing and painting. It was pretty dope, and it made me feel pretty dope about myself.
I think the next time I'll be able to pamper myself is right before the wedding, about 2 weeks from now. I definitely soaked this time all in.
I highly recommend everyone to pamper themselves at least once per week, minimum. Or go get yourself a coffee at that new coffee shop you've been wanting to try. Or go sit in that park and breathe some fresh air. Just do it, it's the best.
