Today is the day we road trip down to Southern California!
Oh my gosh so much to pack and so much to do. Jose will be back on Monday for the full work week, but I won't be back home for 3 weeks. That's a ton of packing for different climates, celebrations, places, humidity levels...
The bed is completely covered with clothing and objects from my entire closet and dresser drawers. It's unreal.
With everything going on, my sleep has been all over the place. Some days I'm completely drained and sleep a full 8 hours. Some days I have so much on my mind that I don't sleep until 2:30am (or even 6am, see previous post with a painting on that night). Funny enough, I forget that ZzzQuil is a thing and that I can take it to help me sleep (I stay away from melatonin unless I'm intending on sleeping at that hour for days on end). It came especially useful during the morning I couldn't sleep until 6am (I always think about that, and I have no clue what got into me), when I took it and slept for 6 hours and barely got anything done when I woke up.
Needless to say, ZzzQuil is my savior in so many situations: on airplanes when I can't sleep vertically, during wedding planning when so much is on my mind, when work gets intense and I have a ton of things on my to do list, when there is someone playing super loud South Park with their window open so the atrium echoes (happened last night).
This little purple cutie helped so much to make sure I slept in order to not get sick before the big day, so it just had to document it's majesty through a painting.
The next time I post I will be in Los Angeles! Until then, after this looming 7 hour drive ahead.
